THE POPULATION BOMB

For as long as humans have existed, we've flourished and expanded. In the past 200 yrs alone we've grown exponentially, through prosperity, relative peace, medical breakthroughs and innovations. With the world population currently sitting at over 7.5 billion, projected to reach 11 billion by end of this century. An ever-rising population only further fuels our insatiable consumption of the finite resources of our planet. The challenges we face will be unlike any other we as a species have ever faced.

Here I would like to explore various problems and even benefits population growth provides. Also the decline in population in some areas of the world. The various solutions and policies utilized by nations to control or accommodate their growth or decline.
